Cloudless Sulphur (Phoebis sennae)

3/7/2012
Spotted this little guy fluttering around my backyard and so I decided to try and capture at least a nice shot of him. I have a butterfly field guide, called Butterflies Of North America by Jim P Brock and Kenn Kaufman. I found a very viable possibility:
Phoebis sennae - cloudless sulpher
check it out!
seems like the most reasonable option, so I'm going to settle with that identification! Beautiful creature that I was lucky to encounter!
